Description

Course : Practical DATA SCIENCE BY DOING

Learn How Businesses Turn Data into Decisions

18 Hours | 9 Live Sessions | Hands-on Practice | Access to Lab | No Coding Required | 2 months of post course support

Schedule – 8 PM-10 PM (Monday / Wednesday / Friday)

Course Fee – 4,000 + 18% GST = 4,720

Batch starting – 16th Oct 2026 (Friday)

Have you ever looked at a company’s data and wondered:

  • What do all these numbers actually mean?
  • Which metrics really matter? Say spends, number of cards, transaction, spend per cards etc.
  • Can data tell us which customers will take an additional product?
  • Can we predict what future value of metrics may look like?
  • Can customer text feedback be analysed automatically?
  • How does a business actually use Data Science and AI to make decisions?

This live, hands-on programme will show you how.

This is NOT a programming course.

You will not spend weeks learning Python, R, SQL or complicated statistical formulas.

Instead, you will learn by solving real business problems with real data.

What Will You Actually Do?

  1. Understand a Business Through Its Data

We begin with a fascinating real-world case: the Indian Credit Card Industry.

You will explore questions such as:

  • How is the credit-card industry growing?
  • What does “active card” really mean?
  • Why is spend per active card important?
  • What does market share tell us?
  • Can a company have more cards but still have a weaker business?

You will learn to look at business data like a business professional, not like a spreadsheet operator.

  1. Turn Data into Meaningful Visuals

You will work with data to understand:

  • Trends
  • Growth
  • Market share
  • Customer behaviour
  • Contributions
  • Comparisons
  • Relationships between variables

And you will create meaningful visual analyses rather than simply making charts because a chart is available.

The objective is simple:

Don’t just display data. Understand what the data is saying.

  1. Predict Customer Behaviour

Suppose a company wants to know:

Which customers are likely to respond to an offer?

Or:

Which customers may become delinquent?

You will actually build a classification model and understand:

  • What are we trying to predict?
  • Which data can help us predict it?
  • How does the model work?
  • How accurate is it?
  • Which factors influence the prediction?
  • What can the business do with the result?

No programming required.

  1. Understand What Customers Are Saying

Businesses have enormous amounts of customer feedback, reviews and comments.

But how do we analyse thousands of sentences?

You will perform sentiment analysis and learn how data can help answer questions such as:

  • What are customers unhappy about?
  • Which themes appear repeatedly?
  • Can customer feedback be converted into actionable information?

You will work on the analysis yourself.

  1. Look into the Future

Historical data can tell us what happened.

But businesses also need to ask:

What could happen next?

You will work with time-series forecasting to forecast future business activity such as sales, transactions or spending.

You will learn to understand:

  • Trends
  • Seasonality
  • Historical patterns
  • Forecasts
  • Actual vs predicted values

Again, the emphasis is on business interpretation, not mathematical theory.

2 Months of Post-Course Support

Your Own Data. Your Own Questions.

After the live sessions, you can continue working with your own suitable dataset and get guidance on how to approach your analytical questions.

You are encouraged to bring a suitable dataset from your own business, work or area of interest.

It could be:

Sales | Customers | Marketing | Retail | Finance | HR | E-commerce | Operations | Other Business Data

And you apply your skills to know: What can I actually discover from my data?

and then perform an appropriate analysis.

What You Will Take Away

By the end of the programme, you should be able to:

✓ Understand the major ways businesses use data science

✓ Identify useful business questions that data can answer

✓ Understand which metrics matter and why

✓ Create meaningful visual analyses

✓ Build and interpret a classification model

✓ Perform sentiment analysis on text data

✓ Create a time-series forecast

✓ Interpret analytical results in a business context

✓ Apply the learning to suitable data from your own work or business

✓ Have a much clearer understanding of where AI, analytics and Data Science can genuinely add value

How Will You Do All This?

The programme is hands-on from the beginning.

You will work with Extreme-ML, a zero-code AI-powered data science and analytics platform.

You don’t need:

Python • R • SAS • SPSS • Complex Statistics • Programming

The technology is there to help you do the analysis, while the programme focuses on understanding:

Business Problem → Data → Analysis → Insight → Decision

Who Is This For?

This programme is designed for people who want to understand and use data, not necessarily become programmers.

It can be useful for:

Working Professionals
who want to become more data-driven.

Managers & Business Leaders
who want to understand what Data Science can actually do.

MBA & Management Students
who want practical exposure beyond classroom theory.

Entrepreneurs & Business Owners
who want to extract more value from their business data.

Analysts & Professionals
who want to expand their analytical capabilities.

Anyone Curious About AI & Data Science

You don’t need to spend months learning a software package before you can start asking useful questions.

And you don’t need to become a programmer to understand what Data Science can do.

Learn the concepts.

Work with real data.

Ask real questions.

Perform the analysis.
